Description
Member ethics advisory group for the "Data Intelligence Network for Scotland", a national programme to advance the digital and organisational infrastructure for harnessing public sector data assets to support the COVID-19 response.Contributing expert advice on ethical and governance issues, risks and considerations for data surveillance programmes in Scotland during COVID-19.
This gave rise to a number of enquiries, activities and recommendations. It led to the development of an ethical framework and workbook to be used by those involved in relevant projects, and a plan for greater public involvement.
