Since 2014, I have been a regular member of the Cross-Party Group on Germany in the Scottish Parliament, chaired by Colin Beattie MSP, and attended by a cross-section of MSPs, guest speakers, the German, Austrian and Swiss consuls, the Head of the Goethe Institute, and other invited non-MSP committee members. I contribute to the group’s discussions concerning German Studies, Germany, the provision of language education in Scotland and cultural matters.
