Professor Cogliano joins the hosts discussing the Barbary Wars, America’s first conflict in the Islamic world and President Jefferson’s attitude towards Islam. He discussed his recent book, Emperor of Liberty: Thomas Jefferson’s Foreign Policy (Yale, 2014). Professor Cogliano features from thirteen minutes.
