The NMAHP ehealth leadership programme, led by NHS Education for Scotland, supports ambitious, experienced nurses, midwives, and health professionals to influence ehealth and demonstrate innovation and creativity in leading change for the benefit of patients. The programme supports delivery of the Scotland's Digital Health and Care Strategy (Scottish Government 2018)
The programme is also open to healthcare scientists and technology-enabled care (TEC) leads.
The programme aims to:
Maximise the potential of digital solutions to benefit patients and
Support nurses, midwives, allied health professionals and healthcare scientists to develop the strategic leadership skills required to influence the use of these solutions in health and care delivery.
What does the programme involve?
The nine-month programme is structured around three themes: strategic leadership and innovation; application of technology to support service delivery and benefit patients/people and enhancing the NMAHP contribution to technology enabled practice and is intended to support participants to meet the following learning outcomes
