Online event in collaboration with St Cecelia's Hall

Description

Two online events were delivered in collaboration with St Cecilia’s Hall at the University of Edinburgh. The presentation showcased some of the museum's musical instrument collection with a live online performance and stories about their development. Dr Judith Okely described some of the non-musical benefits of making music, including findings from her own research on lifetime musical experience and healthy ageing. The first event was open to participants living with dementia or brain injury (recruited through community care partners) and the second evening event was open to the general public.
