Show director of the ECA Costume show 2018.
Live Performance Costume shows at Edinburgh College of Art- paid ticketed events, consisting of 5 performances over two days, held in the Engine Shed at ECA. Showcasing over 135 costumes from undergraduate years 1-4 and MFA1 and MFA2 in five sell out performances to an audience of 174 for each show totalling 870. Performed by students across the whole University.
Working with the event team I organised the planning, structure, content, space, choreography, make-up, hair, photography, marketing, programme, filming, guests from the industry as well as the students and performers to stage 5 sell out performances of the annual Costume show 18 at the Fire station. The show was a great success with excellent feedback from the industry and public and provided unprecedented professional practice experience for students across all year groups who stage managed, performed and ran the backstage organisation of the performances. Liaised with Lyceum for prize at the principle’s reception- a paid professional contract to design and assist Summer on stage show to one of our students- Becky Hollis.
Shows received very good press in newspapers and social media and excellent feedback
