Hummingbirds and Hamburgers is an international, interdisciplinary research exchange across Performance Art, Interaction Design and Community Practice. The project was initiated by Christine Ellison and has been developed with Erato Tzavara (Community Arts educator, Athens), Gnous Collective (Athens), Dr Nicholas Ward (Interaction Design educator, University of Limerick) and Lost Movement Collective (NL).

For Light Moves Festival 2023, Ellison, Tzavara and Ward presented a research paper about their collaborative exchange alongside a screening of the experimental documentary film, Something is Happening (Ellison, 2023).
