Description
The creative team behind the Spirit Case – a beautiful artwork produced as a result of a collaborative community-based arts project to celebrate the history of the Old Royal - offered a series of presentations and informal chats with the public of Edinburgh. The team explained how they worked with former members of Infirmary staff and local residents to honour and celebrate the past life of the EFI building and the ways in which it has served generations of Edinburgh residents.Over two days we gave six presentations to a total of 100 people, and spoke to over 100 more. This was accompanied by a presentation given by Gintare Kulyte about her 'Borne by the Walls' exhibition, which was also open throughout the weekend.
