Seminars, workshops, and training sessions will be held to promote Japanese language education in Scotland. These events will be open to the general public, particularly targeting Japanese language teachers in primary, secondary, and higher education, as well as foreign language education specialists. The goal is to contribute to raising the standard of Japanese language education in Scotland.

For the 2018-19 academic year, the theme is 'Collaboration with other subjects and Japanese language education for pupils'. Experts in Japanese culture, history and art, along with teachers who practice subject collaboration, are invited to explore the possibilities of integrating Japanese language teachiong with other subjects under the following themes 1) - 5). Through this workshop, we aim to provide participants with practical knowledge for teaching and materials development, and to create a platform for sharing information, exchanging opinions, engaging in self-training, and disseminating the results of their work.
