Science Insights at Little France Campus

Science Insights is a work placement programme for high school students about to enter S6. The 2016 programme welcomed students to Little France Campus as part of a week-long event. The programme (week starting 25 July) included facility tours, talks, workshop sessions and researchers shadowing. The CIR and PROTEUS ran research taster sessions on ‘Fluorescent dyes as contrast imaging agents’, ‘Identifying inflammatory cells under the microscope and loading and running western blots’ and ‘Looking at inflammation response in zebrafish’.
