Description
REALITIES Lead Marisa de Andrade was invited to participate in a collaborative event hosted by Scotland's Futures Forum—in partnership with the Scottish Futures Trust, Social Impact Scotland and The Innovation Unit—exploring the future of wellbeing infrastructure in Scotland.Across Scotland’s communities, circumstances vary widely. In an increasingly unpredictable world, global and local pressures are intensifying challenges across public services. Scotland has a policy commitment to prevention and early intervention; however, fiscal pressures are creating significant financial challenges on budgets and resources. While there are excellent examples of prevention and early intervention across Scotland, we believe that a more transformative shift is needed.
This workshop invited cross sector participants to engage in futures thinking around prevention and early intervention. Using scenario exploration and participatory approaches, the session is built around a central provocation: What would Scotland look like if everyone had what they need, when they need it?
