Description
STEP was invited by Scottish Government to take part in its national ‘community conversation’ event in Edinburgh for Gypsy/Traveller’s to respond to the Action Plan for travelling communities. The event was a valuable opportunity for the community to have an in-person chat with minister Christina McKelvie and councillor Maureen Chalmers, to inform current policymaking decisions, and to build capacity so that community members felt able to influence decisions that affect them. STEP, along with partners Article 12, Progress in Dialogue, MECOPP and COSLA, facilitated interactive workshops to support the community share views to feed into the development of the new phase of work.Period | 29 Nov 2022 |
