Scottish Government GRTHM 2023 celebration event
STEP joined Scottish Government and partners in June at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh, to celebrate Scotland's Gypsy/Traveller and Roma communities as part of Gypsy Roma Traveller History Month 2023. Community members, stakeholders, elected representatives and members of the public were invited to this informal drop-in event to share experiences, showcase their work, celebrate and learn about the community and make new connections throughout the day. The Minister for Equalities, Emma Roddick MSP, along with COSLA’s Community Wellbeing Spokesperson, Cllr Maureen Chalmers opened the event.
