In the lead up to one of the most momentous events in the history of the European Union, we have a look at films that explore the idea of European unity and Europe’s complex engagement with political and personal identity. We have chosen a programme that engages with the topics of immigration, nationalism, social justice, the welfare state, absurdity and grief. The Screening Europe programme of films takes place at Filmhouse and is open to the public.
