At this meeting, experts were asked to comment on the working paper and responses to the Joint Working Paper. Presentations were made in 4 groups: "GeoScience and Business", "Partnerships and Sharing", "Intellectual Property" and “Competition and Regulation”. Some contributions were circulated in advance, to maximise opportunities for embracing and consideration of new perspectives, and these contributions are available on the project website. This group of experts was similar, although not identical to the first grouping. Building on the findings of the first meeting, new areas of expertise were introduced, with contributions from Elsa Tsioumani, IISD; Professor Karen Yeung, King's College, London; Dr Oche Onazi,University of Dundee; Professor Doreen McBarnet, University of Oxford and University of Edinburgh; James McLean, Burness and University of Edinburgh; and Ravi Srinivas, RIS, India. Some contributions were made by SKYPE. This was once again an exciting meeting and gave all experts the opportunity to challenge and develop their thoughts when faced with contrasting and quite different perspectives, including from other disciplines. Most of the experts involved in this project are preparing chapters for an edited collection published by Edward Elgar in 2012.
