Chris Harding delivered the paper: 'Japan’s Freud: Kosawa Heisaku and Buddhist Modernism', at the Nissan Institute of Japanese Studies, University of Oxford. Convenors: Professor Sho Konishi and Professor Takehiko Kariya. From its start in the 1980s the institute has organised a series of Nissan Seminars in Japanese Studies. In the academic year 2015/16 they run on Friday evenings at 5.00 - 6.30 p.m. in the first (Michaelmas) and third (Trinity) terms, and on Thursdays at 2.00 p.m. in the second (Hilary) Term. Scholars based in the UK are invited to present their most recent research. Members of the general public are welcome to attend.
