Nicola Frith was invited as a panel member for a public engagement event entitled ‘Piracy, Colonialism, and the Trafficking in and Enslavement of African People Are and Were Crimes against Humanity!’ at the Brunton Theatre, Musselburgh. The event, which saw the launching of the African Students and Scholars Union (ASSU - Scotland), was completely sold out.
