Qualifications, awards and assessment for GRT communities Following the Hayward Review, STEP has created a small focus group to produce guidance and resources for the teachers of children from nomadic communities. Please join us to share and discuss: what is currently happening across the country, what support is needed and how qualifications systems should be improved to meet the needs of Gypsy/Traveller pupils. We are interested in: the variety of awards, examination procedures, cultural relevance, as well as all effective and progressive approaches. The consultation will inform the development of new guidance to support professionals working with Gypsy/Travellers pursuing qualifications.
