Description

Taiwan in Motion Film Workshop

The Taiwanese film directors of the Touch of the Light, Stilt, Taipei Factory and A Rolling Stone will be invited to give paper in this workshop and in conversation with local film director, scholars and critics. This workshop aims to be a discursive platform for the discussion and dissemination of the current state of Taiwanese cinema, cinematography and screen cultures. From art as photography and early photographic technology to contemporary photography and pictures in motion as art and social media, the roundtable discussion welcomes contributions from public participants across the board, whether general public, film critics or researchers, and endeavours to provide filmmakers with a defiant opportunity to present thoughts, share experiences and test out new ideas.
