John Calder and Jim Haynes, who organised the Edinburgh Writers' Conference 1962, discuss their memories of those five heady days. Eleanor Bell and Angela Bartie, heading up a Strathclyde University research project on the Conference, explain their attempts to disentangle the myths from the realities of the famous Edinburgh events.
