Finding the source of the Viking wealth: The ICP facility (L. Pichevin, School of Geosciences) participated in a documentary film to be featured as part of the Museum of Scotland Galloway Hoard Exhibition (postponed due to Covid19). In this documentary we explain how cutting edge Laser ablation and mass spectrometry techniques were used to track the origin and history of the Viking silver found in Scotland.
