THE OIL MACHINE comes to Norway after a successful year touring the UK and international film festivals.
After the screening the panel discussion explores similarities and differences in the UK’s and Norway’s approach to oil and gas, and focus on what’s needed for a just transition in Norway. With Matilde Regina Bakhtiari (Fellesforbundet), Ingrid Eline Barrabès Gørrisen (Natur og Ungdom) and Ole Hagen (El og IT Forbundet). Event hosted by Climate Scientist Kikki (Helga) Flesche Kleiven from Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research.

This event is presented in collaboration with Broen til framtiden, Norway’s alliance for a just transition between trade unions, environmental organisations, the Church, and others.
