Memory in Translation: An interdisciplinary approach to retelling the past

In this session, I will take a critical look at the benefits and challenges of designing an interdisciplinary research project in Translation Studies. I will retrace the various stages of my own research journey, first to identify how I became interested in the question of translating autobiographical and cultural memory, and then to demonstrate how I used concepts from the field of Memory Studies to shed new analytical light on my case studies.
