I was invited to give a talk about the documentary Myth at the Ukrainian Week.

Ukrainian Week featured a series of 50-minute in-person talks on the Ukrainian language, Ukrainian literature, culture and history. It took place on 8–10 April 2024, and was intended to offer both academic and non-academic audiences the chance to explore these topics (which are often little discussed outside of Ukraine).

The abstract was following: Ling Lee will look at the aesthetics of the film and the film language itself. She will also give an insight into the universal storytelling structure of the film. How does this film attract an international audience and what is the message that is communicated?
