Description

The Creative Industries is an umbrella term used for a wide range of sectors with creative approaches at their centre. This Symposium drew on speakers from specific sectors of Design and Photography and the wider design business and education realms. The Symposium was Chaired by Journalist and Television Presenter Kirsty Wark.
Aims of the Symposium
1 Raise awareness of current thinking and practice in Design, Photography and Creative Education
2 Explore the concept of Creativity and its impact on businesses and education
3 Develop the networks from the Creative Industries in Scotland
4 Provide a place for design practice to exchange ideas and develop networks
5 Provide a memorable and meaningful CPD event for practitioners who attend the event
