Description
‘Visioning the future: governance pathways to better health futures’.A group of international experts was brought together for a round table discussion, as part of a dialogue for the joint Lancet & Financial Times Commission ‘Growing up in a digital world: Governing health futures 2030’.
The workshop focused on health futures, digital frontiers, and the broader digital orders that are shaping the digital transformation of health. The European Commission is charged with developing a vision for governance of health futures as they are shaped by digital health technologies and AI applications, with emphasis on low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The work is specifically concerned with improving the health and well-being of future generations and supporting the attainment of universal health coverage (UHC).
