Series of workshops with a P5 class, focussed on the decoration and illumination of medieval Celtic manuscripts, and including creation of medieval writing materials (ink, pens, parchment) and a visit to the Centre for Research Collections to see the University of Edinburgh’s treasured eleventh-century Celtic Psalter, the oldest Scottish book still held in Scotland.
