Description

Series of school workshops on medieval Gaelic tales and manuscripts, including visit to National Library of Scotland Gaelic manuscript collections.

Work with a Primary 6 class to introduce them to the riches of Gaelic narrative tradition, exploring the scripts and stories of medieval Gaelic manuscripts over a series of workshops, and culminating in a visit to the manuscripts department at the National Library of Scotland, where they could see – and handle themselves – the 600 year old original copies of the stories they had been working on.
