Writing Abstracts 3rd floor project space, Evolution House
In this informal workshop we'll look at, and practice, the art of writing abstracts. We will focus on two types of abstract: the first, the kind of concise summary that might sit at the start of an article or book chapter you might write about your work; the second, the prospective sort that you might submit to a conference in answer to a call for papers. Looking at examples of both, the session will help participants craft abstracts of their own. There will be time to share tips and review and refine our practice attempts.
