Jemima Whyte is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Stem Cell Biology at The Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh. She obtained her Wellcome Trust PhD from Manchester University in 2010 working on mesenchymal stem cell differentiation to endothelial cells and pursued a research program in Wnt signaling and skin wound healing at Stanford University,California. Afterwards she joined the Roslin Institute in 2013 to help develop a stem cell bio-bank to conserve endangered chicken breeds. Her research interests are focused on stem cells and their application to animals particularly working with mesenchymal stem cells and primordial germ cells.
