    Description

Lucy Hunter Blackburn was approached by several media outlets for her comments on the Scottish Government's Independent Review of Student Funding upon the publication of its final report on Monday the 20th November 2017.

The review had been asked by Ministers to identify possible improvements to student living cost funding in further and higher education, but without incurring any substantial extra cost in grants. It was however able to look at the increased use of student loans for living costs. Lucy Hunter Blackburn, an ESRC-funded PhD student in the School of Education studying student funding, was approached for comment by various media outlets.
