    Press/Media: Public Engagement Activities

    Description

As a part of a series of youth-centred activities for YPA, youth volunteers were trained to be involved in the process of conducting a global systemic review of the seven INSPIRE strategies. The review aimed to identify ‘accelerators’ or interventions that have positive impacts across multiple SDG targets. Youth volunteers from five countries – Brazil, China, Colombia, Cote d’Ivore, and Uganda – looked into the implementation and outcomes of specific INSPIRE interventions. As a result of their participation, five case studies were produced – each of which assessed the successes and challenges of interventions. The five case studies provide a unique context- and age-specific perspective by youth often missing from research and interventions undertaken for children. They incorporate research, review, and recommendations by young people.
