Filming was for public outreach project led by Sarah Hartley (University of Exeter). The collaborative project between Exeter and Edinburgh aims to contribute to the very active public dialogue around animal genetic engineering, with specific focus on gene drive technology. In this film, I illustrated the proposed use of gene drive to control grey squirrel populations, a invasive, non-native pest in the UK.
