Description
The paediatric PO (pulse oximetry) devices were procured by the study team and provided to each PHCs in the first week of Jun 2021. The quantitative data was collected in two phases. In the first phase during the training and baseline assessment, the proportion of usage of PO by the PHC staff was measured from Mar to May 2021. During this time the staff were using adult PO if required as the paediatric PO was not available. In the second phase after providing the paediatric PO device to each PHC, the data were collected from Jun to Nov 2021 to assess the proportion of usage of PO in under five children with respiratory symptoms by the PHC staff.
