Data and scripts for Toro-Delgado et al., Mol. Ecol., "Wolbachia host shifts and widespread occurrence of reproductive manipulation loci in European butterflies"

This repsository contains the assembled mitogenomes and Wolbachia genomes from Toro-Delgado et al., "Wolbachia host shifts and widespread occurrence of reproductive manipulation loci in European butterflies". The file "Toro-Delgado_2025_Mol_Ecol_mitogenomes.zip" contains, for 44 species of butterflies, 1) the mitogenome sequence in FASTA format, 2) the annotation in GenBank format, and 3) the protein sequences in FASTA format. The file "wolbachia_assemblies.zip" contains 13 Wolbachia assemblies (12 high quality + the partial assemblies recovered form Melanargia lachesis).
