Abstract

This dataset comprises results contained in a manuscript entitled "Ultraviolet radiation drives emission of climate-relevant gases from marine phytoplankton" that describes an investigation of the production of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane, ethene, ethane, and nitrous oxide from cell suspensions of 16 marine phytoplankton species and their filtrates when exposed to ultraviolet radiation under controlled experimental conditions.
