Dissertation 2020 R Code

R code in support of University of Edinburgh Masters thesis "Racial Differences in the Predictive Ability of Apgar Scores: A Quantitative Analysis". The source data for the anlaysis was the National Vital Statistics Cohort Linked 2017/2018 Infant Birth and Death Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Preventions' National Center for Health Statistics and the data was downloaded from a publicly accessible website (https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data_access/vitalstatsonline.htm). Variables included in the analysis are documented in the user guides associated with the dataset on the CDC website.
