Emergence of signalling - simulation data

This dataset comprises sample output from simulation codes available at https://git.ecdf.ed.ac.uk/rblythe3/emergence-of-signalling for reproducibility of the results presented in the paper “Exploiting individual differences to bootstrap communication”. The simulation model involves a set of agents who use signals probabilistically to express meanings that are present in the environment, and show over time how a common communication system can emerge in the system, even in the absence of explicit feedback on whether interactions were successful or not.
