Abstract
This dataset is comprised of English translations of in-depth interviews of mothers of children under-five from selected communities in Pakistan across Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, KPK and AJK. These interviews were conducted as a part of formative research to develop a mobile health based intervention package for prevention of pneumonia. These interviews explored care seeking practices of mothers for children- under five, barriers to timely healthcare seeking, perception of mothers on under-five pneumonia and their feedback on the suggested mhealth intervention package.
