Abstract

This dataset contains the full dataset (including sensitive demographic variables not considered appropriate for open sharing) generated for the INSIDE-HIV study, carried out at Brighton & Sussex Medical School (BSMS), University of Sussex, Brighton, UK. The objective of this pilot study was to assess whether neuroinflammation (as measured using neuroimaging techniques) is correlated with the severity of depressive symptoms in people living with HIV. A total of 20 people living with HIV with varying degrees of depressive symptom severity were recruited for a study involving neuroimaging and blood sampling to assess biomarkers of (neuro)inflammation. A subset of this data, not including the sensitive demographic variables, is available openly via the Edinburgh DataShare service at https://doi.org/10.7488/ds/7843
Conditions for approval of data sharing of this restricted dataset have been provided in the README file accompanying the dataset.
