Abstract
The International LAnd Model Benchmarking (beta version) software framework is an open source tool for the purpose of confronting process models of the land surface with observations to identify model-data mismatches with the aim of identifying missing or incorrectly described processed. The current beta version extends the framework to account of observational uncertainty providing a more robust determination of land surface model capacity.
