Abstract

The data was generated through semi structured interviews and a Generalised Joint Hypermobility screening questionnaire. Ten pre-vocational dancers (90% female) aged 13-17 years old from six dance schools in Israel’s Tel-Aviv and Haifa areas took part in this study. Purposive sampling was employed (Etikan, Musa, and Alkassim 2016). As the participants were under the age of 18, they were not approached directly, but through their dance studio administration. The Ten participants completed the informed consent and informed parental consent forms.
