Description
An Archive of scientific images collated from the Roslin Institute Bio-Imaging share.
These images were collated by users that have subsequently left the institute or have not made their data sets fully identifiable.
These Images were generated using a variety of Brightfield, Fluorescent and Laser Confocal microscopes within Roslin Institute Bioimaging Facility and are stored in various digital image formats including (but not limited to):
.czi (Carl Zeiss)
.lif (Leica Image Format)
.ids/ics (Nikon)
.ome.tif (Image 5D stack)
.tiff, .tif, .png, .jpg
The archive will be split into sections with folders containing names from A-E, F-K, L-R, S-Z.
## Access ##
This dataset is held in the Edinburgh DataVault, directly accessible only to authorised University of Edinburgh users. Requests for access will not necessarily be granted. External users may request access to a copy of the data by contacting the Contact Person named on this page. University of Edinburgh users who wish to have direct access should consult the information about retrieving data from the DataVault at: http://www.ed.ac.uk/is/research-support/datavault .
