The aim of this research is to investigate how individuals with disordered eating perceive a novel way of thinking about their distress in the form of Developmental Interpersonal Trauma Disorder (DITD). Specifically, whether individuals think DITD applies to them based on their experiences and whether they think this conceptualization would be helpful for their own and other's understanding of their distress.
