Biography

Adriana Sejfia currently serves as a Lecturer in Software Engineering at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California before joining the university. Adriana's research focuses on software engineering, specifically aiming to empower developers with actionable insights for their security and privacy-related tasks using program analysis and machine learning techniques. Her contributions have been presented at conferences such as ICSE, FSE, and ICSA.

 

Throughout her Ph.D., Adriana received support from the Google Ph.D. Fellowship and an Annenberg Fellowship. She also gained valuable research experience through internships at Google and GitHub. Adriana is honored to have been recognized as an EECS Rising Star in 2023 and to have had the opportunity to participate as a Young Researcher at the Heidelberg Laureate Forum in 2022.
