Alejandro is a Lecturer in Urban Geography at the Research Institute of Geography and the Lived Environment, School of Geosciences, University of Edinburgh. Before joining Edinburgh, he worked as a Lecturer at the University of Bath, and as a post-doctoral research associate at the Department of Geography, University of Durham. Alejandro has a PhD in Sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences.
His research focuses on the everyday relations between infrastructure, environment and the state as mediated and enabled by labour.
