Ana Cabrera Pacheco

Personal profile

PDRA (2022-2024) in the Ixchel Project.

I am interested in researching the connections of communities with their territories, particularly of Indigenous communities who engage in different ways to resist and defend their ways of life. I have an interest in deepening this work within contexts of displacement due to disasters, including climate change, particularly through the lenses of feminist geographies and decolonial thinking. My work is based on a commitment to social and environmental justice, and the recognition that “another world is possible”.
