Research Interests

Our group aims to understand the neurobiology of natural behaviour from an ethological perspective. We are interested in how animals sense and respond to their natural environment through olfaction and somatosensation and have a particular interest in the development of social (kinship) behaviour. We use a variety of techniques to address these topics including in vivo and in vitro electrophysiology, imaging, behaviour, and analysis of vocalisations.
