I  have worked approximately 30 years as a Research Assistant in both Reseach and Diagnostic laboratories within the framework of the Roslin Institute.This included a secondment into the private sector where I gained managerial experience within a quality assured diagnostic laboratory.This experience gained, led me to become the Roslin Institute Laboratory mananger and when the Institiutes allignment with the University of Edinburgh was completed ,I became the Easterbush Campus Facilities and Services Manager.

My particular interests are in Laboratory Management, Sustainability and Cryogenic management.

I am part of the design teams in the further expansion of the Easterbush Campus,working closely with the Campus Operation Manager ,University Development and Design teams,  external architects and building contractors.
