Biography

Carolina Mayen Huerta is a Research Associate at the Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (ESALA). Her research focuses on the links between inclusive access to green spaces and health outcomes at a population level. In addition, she has experience working in international development institutions (i.e., World Bank, IADB, UNDP), where she has advised, monitored, and evaluated urban development, energy, gender, health, and climate change projects. Carolina holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Melbourne and an MPA in Development Practice from Columbia University.
